    • Glow-In-The-Dark
    Drop the radio in the water at night, no worries as the HX751 floats and case gasket glows-in-the-dark to assist retrieval.

    FLOATING - Submersible JIS-7 / IPX7
    The HX751 has been designed from the ground up to be completely submersible to a depth of 3.3 feet for 30 minutes, and it FLOATS!

    6W Transmit Power
    The HX751 is able to select 1W, 2.5W, 5W to conserve battery life or for maximum transmit distance the HX751 can be selected to transmit 6W.

    Preset Key
    Dedicated key that allows programming and quick selection of up to 10 favorite Marine VHF or NOAA Weather channels.

    Volume and Squelch Levels
    The HX751 display graphically shows volume and squelch adjustment to aid in operation.

    Loud speaker audio
    The HX751 is designed to be heard in even the noisiest environments with 700mW of power supplied to the internal speaker.

    Programmable Scan, Priority Scan and Dual Watch
    Scanning is not an issue with the HX751. The radio can be setup to scan any number of channels with or without a priority channel or simply can be setup to scan between a priority channel and on other channel (dual watch).

    NOAA Weather channels and Weather Alert
    10 NOAA and Canadian Weather channels are pre-programmed and easily selectable using the dedicated WX key. In addition, the HX751 can be set to monitor WX channels and provide an audible alert to inform of pending storm advisories.

    Built-in thermometer sensor
    The HX751 has a front panel mounted temperature sensor allowing you to see if water is warm enough to take a swim.

    Audio Tone Control
    The speaker audio can be customized to adjust the treble or bass to increase listening of transmissions.

    AC and DC chargers
    The HX751 is included with a desktop charging cradle and AC and DC adapters to charge when on shore or on your vessel.

    Battery Life indication
    The display shows a battery bar-graph gauge to inform the charge left in the Lithium-ion battery.

    Programmable Channel Names
    The HX751 is supplied from the factory preloaded with description of the use of Marine channels (16-Distress, 22A-USCG, 71-Pleasure). The channel names may be customized by the user to easily understand the use of each channel.

    Speaker Microphone Connection
    Optional speaker microphone or headsets are available to assist with your communications needs.

    Return Policy

    It is the aim of the Boating Gear Center to  provide outstanding service to all of our customers. The BGC return policy covers two different sets of circumstances and provides two different sets of solutions, "A" and "B" as stated below: *Custom made product orders do not apply. Please verify order details and specifications before completing custom made orders.

    A. For the following situations at the time the customer receives the product(s):

    1. The product was received in defective or damaged condition.

    2. An error was made by the sender by shipping the wrong item(s).

    The following remedies will be offered to the consumer for these above-listed cases, within 30 days of the item(s) being originally shipped. Thereafter, no returns or refunds are possible.

    a.The item(s) must be returned to the sender in brand new, unused condition in the original shipping packaging and with all parts, accessories, manuals, and blank coupons and/or warranty cards included.

    b. Only if the item(s) are returned as described in (A) above, the customer has the option of receiving a complete refund, including the cost of the item(s), freight, and will receive a UPS (or other) call tag or other return means. No restocking fees will be charged to the customer in these cases.


    B. For the following situations at the time or after the time the customer receives the product(s):

    1. The customer decides that he/she no longer wants the item(s) for any reason (does not like item(s), ordered wrong item(s), etc.)

    2. The customer placed the order incorrectly online.

    Only within the first 30 days after the item(s) are shipped to the customer, the item(s) may be returned to the sender for a refund, if, and only if all of the following four (4) points are fully met. Otherwise, no refund will be given:

    a. The customer pays the full shipping costs both for returning the unwanted item(s) and then the shipping of the replacement item(s).

    b. The customer pays any restocking fees required by the distributor(s)/manufacturer(s) involved. Merchandise returned is subject to a 20% restocking fee.

    c. If there are additional product costs associated with the customer changing the original order, the customer will pay all those additional costs.

    d. The item(s) must be returned in unused, completely new condition, in the original packaging and shipping materials, and with all manuals, warranty cards, instructions, parts, and accessories included.


    Please Note: In policy option B above, there is NO provision offered for a refund of the customer's money for original shipping.

    If your situation qualifies you to return one or more items as defined within solution "A" or "B" as described above, you may return the item(s) you received. Please remember that after first 30 days from the date that the item(s) were shipped to you, [not the date you received the item(s)] you loose the ability to return the item.

    *All custom made products such as boat bedding, boat covers and canvas are made to order and are non -refundable or exchangeable.  All Boat Canvas products include snaps and/or hardware separately and will require some installation.  Product guarantee applies only if the submitted boat information is complete and accurate and no changes have been made to the original factory configurations.
